The new 2011 Youth Eligibility Card is now available. 

 

Awards

The following awards will be provided in each geographic area for each age division:

Champion Canadian Belgian Youth Exhibitor: $100.00 plus Jacket
Reserve Champion Canadian Belgian Youth Exhibitor: $50.00 plus Jacket
Honourable Mention Canadian Belgian Youth Exhibitor: $25.00

 

The card must be filled in by the participant and returned to the CBHA by November 30, 2011

 

What to send:

At the conclusion of the show season, each youth nominee will be required to forward their completed eligibility card with following information :  (Refer to The Spring 2011 Banner pages 30-34 to see examples of last year's completed Youth Eligibility Cards)

1. Your identifying information (Name, Address, Town/City, Province, Postal Code, Date of Birth)

2. In about 100 words, tell us about your involvement with Belgians.

3. List the show, the date of the show, the class, the placing and the judge for each qualifying show. All placings attained in all classes must be included with your entry. A participant in the program may qualify in only one of the geographic areas.

4. A picture of yourself (with your horse if possible).  Picture to be sent either as a clear hard copy, OR

 electronically as a .jpg or .tif or .pdf,  high resolution of 300dpi. or more. Maximum size 4.0 Mb.

 

How to send your card:

You may submit the information to the Canadian Belgian Horse Association in one of two ways:

1. If you have Adobe Acrobat, you will be able to save your filled-in card on your hard drive:

 Open the Eligibility Card as a pdf/double click the link above, and save it without filling it in, on your hard drive as a .pdf.  Now open Adobe Acrobat and open the Eligibility Card that you have saved on your hard drive, in Acrobat.   Fill the Youth Eligibility Card  in with the above information, save it again on your hard drive as a .pdf.  Now you can attach it to an email.   Attach your picture also to the email.

2. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat, you will not be able to save your filled-in card on your hard drive.

You can fill the Eligibility Card in online, print it and mail it along with your photo  to:
